About the Tour
In this tour we will visit the Monastery of Batalha and the Moeda Caves
We begin our tour with the pick up at your hotel in Fátima at 9 a.m. or 2 p.m.
Our first stop is the Monastery of Batalha – Built in the 14th century and dedicated to Holy Mary by King João I in gratitude for his victory over the Castillian troops in the Battle of Aljubarrota, this late gothic masterpiece was classified an World Heritage Site in 1983 by Unesco.
Moeda Caves - Just 6 minutes from Fátima we will find the Moeda Caves. Discovered by two hunters in 1971, these limestone formations have a length of 350 meters and a depth of 45 meters. Its underground beauty and light makes this place worth a visit.
Here we will also enjoy a tasting of a regional liquor named "Abafadinho" and a traditional cake.

Finished the tour we will arrive at Fátima around 2 p.m. or 7 p.m.
